Matt Blauch made another goal in the second half. Senior defender Ryan Eshleman scored right after Blauch was fouled when Baptist 15 threw himself on the EMHS junior. Junior Jeremy Sauder kicked the ball into the net in the last minutes of the game but the goalie grabbed it.

The biggest fish of the weekend fell to one of the youngest anglers with Mitch Michalski of the Sault icing a 9.10 pound walleye in the Last Chance Walleye Derby sponsored by the Sault Area Sportsmen’s Club. Michalski will have more than memories of the day and his $50 top prize thanks to Randy Desormeau of Northland Taxidermy. Desormeau donated free mounts for the youth winners which will include the 1.20 perch caught by Cody Reinfelder of Goetzville..
